He is survived by his wife Smt. Dhrumanben and two sons, Kandarp and Rajat (jooku). Gujarati community has lost a music icon but his contributions will live forever at every Sugam Sangeet Bethak. Dilip Dholakia was uncle of our Nagar family members, Hina Badshah, Harshendu Thakore and Panna Thakore of Baltimore Maryland.
