He had a cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife Bharti Mehta, and two children son Swroop Mehta and daughter Viswaja Majmudar, Son-in-law Hardik Majmudar and a grand child Vedika Majmudar. Brijenbhai had a long career in Akashwani Ahmedabad. He was the radio announcer in Vividhbharti Ahmedabad from where he retired. He was a great poet writing gujarati poems under the name of Shabnam and good singer (Voice of Mohmmed Rafi) and a great communicator and had passed his MA (Arts) from Saurashtra University.
