NAGAR wish you all a very happy, successful and fun-filled Hatkeshwar Jayanti/ Patotsav celebration on April 19, 2008. The tradition of Patotsav celebration was started more than 35 years ago in few states of USA but rapidly inspired our community in many states of USA as well other parts of the world including Dubai, UK and Canada.
NAGAR congratulate and salute all our community members, their volunteers and leaders to continue this inherent tradition of Patotsav and organize its celebrations year after years.
On the eve of Patotsav 2008, which is a beginning of NAGAR DECENNIAL CELEBRATION (1998-2008), NAGAR appeal our community and members, and more particularly the volunteers and leaders of the local associations to become active partners in our mission to bring closer our community. NAGAR is revising its byelaws and request your comments/ suggestions to work in true partnership by becoming fully affiliated to better serve our community by unifying membership. NAGAR was given like a Janoi Sanskar in Chicago at the National Nagar Convention 1998, and was sent out to complete his education from the established Nagar Institutes in California, Maryland, and New Jersey/ New York, Michigan, Georgia. NAGAR during his academic years have strived to bring our community closer with the help our dedicated founder & life members, registered members, local leaders and many volunteers of our community. NAGAR have built highways connecting our nagar communities through help launching five successful conventions at every two years interval in major cities, published four directories and successfully developed a functional, efficient and one of the largest website www.nagar.org, which is going to set all time highest milestone of 100,000 visitors mark before the end of Patotsav 2008 celebrations in USA. NAGAR is now ready to return to his hometown Chicago after ten years. Nagar Association of Greater American Regions (NAGAR) and Nagar Mandal of Greater Chicago (NMGC) are celebrating NAGAR DECENNIAL CELEBRATION as World Nagar Convention 2008 on July 4-6 at Chicago. You are cordially invited to join us July 4-6, 2008 at World Nagar Convention 2008 in Chicago, Illinois.
