Please join NAGAR in welcoming the following New NAGAR Team 2008-2010:
• President - Nitin Dave, (from Georgia - a founding Life Member of NAGAR & regional V.P., active US nagar community leader, since 1994)
• Vice President - Harshal S. Chhaya, (from Texas - current Secretary and Web Master since 2002, and a NAGAR Life Member)
• Secretary - Dhimant Chhaya, (from Michigan - President of Michigan Nagar Association since 2002)
• Treasurer - Senajit Majumdar, (from Illinois - Active Member w/ Chicago Nagar Mandal)
NAGAR Team 2008-2010 nominated and supported by NAGAR Nomination Committee was declared elected in the NAGAR meeting on July 25, 2008, after review of the election results. NAGAR Team 2008-2010 is working diligently with a top priority to form ONE NAGAR TEAM comprising nagar representatives from every corner of USA including representatives of all local nagar associations/ mandals. NAGAR Team invite all the leaders of local organizations and mandals to join NAGAR to form ONE NAGAR TEAM and help elect the remaining ten (10) regional Vice presidents and Secretary to complete the ONE NAGAR TEAM per current NAGAR by-laws.
ONE NAGAR TEAM will continue its journey to bring all nagar together, and provide:
· an umbrella organization for all nagar organizations/ mandals first in USA, and expand globally,
· one unified membership in USA once agreed by ONE NAGAR TEAM
· affiliated membership for all registered, unregistered nagar associations and local chapters
· NAGAR Convention 2010, and beyond under ONE NAGAR TEAM umbrella.
· News Letters publication by an editorial board of ONE NAGAR TEAM….
